It's been one of those weeks.
I spent my usual thought-collecting and writing time this weekend with the kids. I took on our little bundles of joy so that my wife could do her annual get-together thing with her two best friends.
Luckily, Harlock and Family called, rescuing me from the full crush of responsibility.
If anyone wonders why I worked so joyfully hauling chunks of concrete, splintery wood, and rabbit-pellet-strewn boards without gloves, let's just say it was the least I could do.
